How to define the work

Copy the item number and observation, then add a separate space for the proposed repair after assessment. Attach a close photo and wider location view. Do not translate an uncertain finding into a guaranteed diagnosis. Keep any request for specialist assessment visible when the list is priced.

The first review confirms project fit. Design, engineering, specialist assessments, permits, material selections, and construction responsibilities should be identified in the proposed scope. Availability and a final price require review of the actual property.

Translate the Everett inspection list into scope

Keep the inspector observation separate from the proposed repair. Group items by access and appropriate trade, and identify anything requiring diagnosis before pricing. Small planned repairs and punch-list work differ from a whole-home remodel or an engineering assessment.

Confirm each repair boundary

Specify what will be opened, repaired, tested where applicable and made good. Identify exclusions and the approval process for discovered work. A list of inspection comments is not by itself a contractor scope or permission to undertake every related improvement.

Check each agreed item

Use a line-by-line completion record with notes or photographs appropriate to the work. Retain specialist findings and required inspection records where they apply. Completing the contract repair list does not certify every condition in the original inspection report.
